- We were sorry to hear about Gerry Marsden's recent triple bypass heart surgery. We've met him on two separate occasions and he truly embodies the spirit of Liverpool. Get well soon, Gerry.
- As we said last week, we were huge fans of Johnny Cash. We were listening to his most recent American album the day of his death and listened to him sing, "We'll meet again, don't know where, don't know when ..." We found ourselves getting a bit misty-eyed when hearing that.
- We have to admit our website readers (you, that is) caught us by surprise with all the Beatle connections of John Ritter. It was wonderful to read. It again points out why we couldn't do this daily news thing without our readers -- without you! You are very very much a part of it. Thank you again.
