Beatles Examiner: Beatles' 'Yellow Submarine' remake has had problems from the beginning
According to reports from Rolling Stone.com and the Hollywood Reporter, Walt Disney Studios has turned down the remake of "Yellow Submarine," the planned modern version combining live action and animation like Zemeckis' remake of "A Christmas Carol" and the recently opened "Mars Needs Moms." The movie could still be done by another studio.
