There have been books on the Beatles' hometown of Liverpool before, notably David Bedford's excellent "Liddypool," which features interviews with many of the local people involved in their story. One of the newest additions looks at Liverpool from a different angle.
David Lewis' "The Beatles: Liverpool Landscapes" (also available from Amazon.co.uk) is a guidebook to many of the places, both well-known and obscure, that figured into the Beatles' life in their hometown before the group began and during their rise to fame.
