BULLETIN! McCartney makes surprise appearance at Billy Joel Shea show!

Just got this note from Kris Tash:

Steve,

Just got a call from my good friends, Mary Ann and Marie, who went
to Billy Joel's final concert at Shea Stadium, the last concert that will
ever be held. And guess who made a guest appearance?? Paul was there!! He
sang "I Saw Her Standing There" towards the end of the show, and talked
about the excitement of when he was there, all those years ago. Then he
left the stage while Billy sang "Piano Man." Afterwhich, Billy said,
"Ladies and gentlemen, Sir Paul McCartney!" And Paul sang "Let It Be," the
last song that will ever be sung in concert at Shea Stadium! Is that
incredible or what?? Also Billy wore Ringo's sheriff's badge from 1965 ...
not sure how he came to be in possession of it, but what a nice touch!
