Picked this up at Barnes & Noble the other day. It's not all Beatles, but it does have archival material from NME and Melody Maker. Apparently, this is a monthly magazine. Didn't see 1964, but would have loved to. (Thanks to Kris Tash.)

New shows for the Out There! tour

The Out There! tour is about to get a little more out there in the United States,we learned April 23. The word is that there will be three more new shows to be announced. According to sources, the added shows will take place in Charlottesville, Virginia, Columbia, South Carolina and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. These will be in addition to the upcoming shows already scheduled at the Firefly Music Festival show June 19 in Dover, Delaware and the Lollapalooza Festival in Chicago July 31. And as fans know, McCartney also played a small-hall show at New York City's Irving Plaza on Valentine's Day that was supposed to be secret though word of the show managed to creep out in advance. McCartney is currently on a swing of shows in Japan and Korea with a series of shows running through May 2. Then the tour heads to Europe beginning May 23 with several concerts in Great Britain that will feature two shows in London, one in Birmingham and one in his home town of Liverpool. Then the tour heads to Marseille in France, Amsterdam in the Netherlands for two nights, back to France for a show in Paris, then single shows in Oslo, Norway and Stockholm, Sweden. Billboard reported April 23 that McCartney was at the top of the list for the wealthiest UK music folks with a $1.1 billion fortune. Theatrical mogul Andrew Lloyd Webber placed second with $976 million. The magazine said McCartney's wealth also includes that of wife Nancy Shevell, who it said has a big stake estimated to be $225 million in New England Motor Freight Inc.
